Family Based Ministries
Here at Berea Baptist Church, we believe in a family based ministry program. With age graded small groups and Sunday School classes, there is literally something for everyone. From our smallest nursery babies to those living in their golden years, we share our burdens one with another.
We feel confident that you will find a place here at Berea.
Nursery
Our newly renovated nursery features two adjoining rooms for our youngest Berea Kids. With loving, background checked leaders, moms and dads should feel confident leaving babies as well as toddlers in the capable hands of our nursery staff.
Nursery is provided from 9:30am to 12:15pm or when the last child is safely back with the adult that dropped them off on Sunday mornings and as needed during other services and events.
Berea Kids
At Berea Kids, we exist to partner with families to know, show, and grow God's love. All of our volunteers are background checked and provided with training so they can continue building on the blocks that were started in the nursery and preschool departments.
Berea Kids meets each Sunday morning during Sunday School for age graded Bible Study. They currently join us for worship.
Berea Students
Berea Student Ministry is focused on reaching middle school and high school students for Christ. Our leaders mobilize each Wednesday night in church vans to pick up students who want to attend church but lack a ride.
The leaders of Berea Student Ministry seek to get in depth study of God's Word each Wednesday on a level that reaches today's youth.
Adult Ministry
Berea has a group for every age of adults, from our Young Adult Couples who are just starting their journey in adulthood all the way to those spending their golden years serving God.
Young Adult Couples Sunday School Group - These young men and women range from those just starting out to those raising teenagers and young college students. They meet each Sunday morning and spend an hour or so discussing topics relevant to their stage of the journey and encouraging one another.
Life on Life's Terms - This Sunday School class meets life head on armed with the Word of God. They take turns teaching a book of the Bible or relevant topic to one another. Currently this group is mostly comprised of the 40-60 year old men of our congregation.
Sara Dalton/Mens Class - These groups are the men and women of the 60-75 year age range. They are beginning the stage of empty nesting.
Adult Couples Classes - These Sunday School classes are comprised of men and women who want to go to Sundays School with their spouse.
